Since the last post I see was in '09 I thought worth mentioning that as of 04.25.2010, I'm still getting bogus e-mail from the group. Nasty since I cannot filter it without blocking legit group mail. I ran a G scale minimum gauge group for a few years and the only way to keep it sane was to make membership by invitation from an existing member.

The private message spammers are the worst.

I am going to install some software to get this cleaned up and get the spammers BANNED permanently.

The only way people can sign up now is if I manually approve their account.

OK I have gone in and deleted all the spam from everyone's account (basically I just deleted all private messages) this was the easiest way to clean the whole thing.
